About
Built by someone who has actually run the house.
Not a management company that hired an estate manager. An estate manager who built a management company.
In brief
- Four years running a private multi-property estate across the Hamptons and Manhattan
- A decade in hospitality before that
- Household staff supervision, vendor contracting, budget control, seasonal operations
- A Dimora venture within Gilded Edge Group
The experience behind this
For four years I have run a private multi-property estate across the Hamptons and Manhattan — two residences, the staff, the vendors, the budgets, the seasonal cycle, and the daily judgement calls that never make it into a job description.
Before that, a decade in hospitality. Which is where you learn the thing that does not transfer from any other industry: that the standard is not what you deliver when someone is watching. It is what the house looks like on a Tuesday in February when nobody is coming.
I am not going to name the family. Discretion is not a feature we advertise and then make an exception to for our own marketing. If you want to verify the work, we can arrange that properly, in conversation, with their knowledge.
Why this firm exists
Because there is a gap in this market that is visible from the inside and invisible from outside it.
Almost every provider on the East End is maintenance-led. They come from building, from landscaping, from caretaking, and they are frequently very good at those things. What comparatively few of them do is govern a household — supervise staff, control a budget, hold vendors to a contract, keep the records that matter when something goes wrong.
That is a different discipline, it is the one that actually determines whether a property is well run, and it is what an estate manager does. Dimora White Glove exists to make it available to households that need the judgement but do not need a full-time hire at two hundred thousand dollars a year.
How we are built
Deliberately small. A stewardship engagement is worth nothing if the person responsible is unreachable, unfamiliar with the property, or an hour away when a pipe fails. We take a limited number of households and we do not grow past the point where the person who signed the agreement is the person who shows up.
We take no money from vendors. We hold no client funds. We charge no placement fees. Each of those is a revenue line we removed on purpose, because each one would put a second interest between us and the household — and the entire value of this role is that there is only one.
Dimora Private
Dimora White Glove is the service arm of Dimora Private, which is building software for multi-property household operations. The order is deliberate. Running real houses is how you learn what the software has to do — and it is why the software, when it arrives, will have been built by people who have done the job rather than people who researched it.
